Shane and Stacey Brown, both Colorado natives, operate Shane Brown Performance Horses out of their facility near Elbert, CO. Their mission is to be leaders in the Performance Horse industry in the Colorado Region. In addition to their own business goals they make every effort to communicate, educate and offer opportunities to internship programs around the country. Stewardship of the reining industry doesn’t stop at a successful business model, it must also include educating others to participate as well.
Shane regularly volunteers his time with regional and national equine organizations. He has been an active participating member of Rocky Mountain Reining Horse Association since 1998 as well as in service to the Board of Directors of the National Reining Horse Association and Chairman of the NRHA Professional’s Committee. His desire to see the reining industry flourish for riders, owners and trainers is always foremost in his mind. Stacey maintains the administrative and support functions a busy barn needs. As a cohesive team, Shane Brown Performance Horses strives to bring the sport of reining to new levels of recognition. Customer service is always their biggest goal and they hope you will enjoy your time with them.

Our Facility |
Located within easy driving distance of Colorado Springs and Denver, Shane Brown Performance horses is located east of I25 near the small town of Elbert, CO. The full scale training facility is one of the nicest in the region and is comprised of a large indoor arena, two large outdoor arenas, thirty one stalls and ample turn outs on 70 acres of pine studded foothills. The main show barn housing 16 stalls is equipped with automatic waterers and MD Barn brand stalls. The secondary barn of 15 stalls was custom built and is where the younger horses are kept safe and sound. While the main facility is spectacular, so too is the acreage often used for trail rides and barn gatherings.
